A smarter home.
Expertly looked after.

Support, management and monitoring.
For the technology you live with.

Designed for living.
Managed for everyday life.

PART OF M-TECH SYSTEMS

Managed services are in our DNA. We bring that same long-term thinking to your connected home.

Your home keeps evolving.
Its care should too.

A smart home brings together networks, apps, devices and integrations. Software changes. Equipment ages. Your routines move on. Support and maintenance belong in the plan from the start.

HomeTech is part of M-Tech Systems. Looking after technology over time is central to what we do. Ongoing care gives your home an agreed approach to support, system management and monitoring, with people who understand how the pieces fit together.

01

Support.

Help from people
who know the system.

A clear place to turn.

When a routine stops working, a device needs replacing or you simply want to change how something behaves, it helps to have a team that understands your home.

  • Fault diagnosis and help with everyday operation.
  • Remote assistance where access and equipment allow.
  • On-site visits and replacement work arranged when needed.
  • Advice as your household, devices and routines change.

We agree how to request help, service hours, response arrangements and which work is included.

02

Management.

The work behind
the way it works.

Keep a handle on the details.

Connected systems need more than occasional attention when something fails. Planned management helps keep configurations, access and maintenance organised as the system evolves.

  • Review and plan software and firmware updates.
  • Maintain agreed system records and configuration backups where supported.
  • Review access, permissions and supported equipment.
  • Plan changes, replacements and future additions.

Update timing, compatibility checks and backup coverage are agreed for the equipment we manage.

03

Monitoring.

Visibility of what
needs attention.

Know more about system health.

Supported equipment can report connection status and health information. Monitoring gives us a way to identify issues and investigate alerts, rather than relying solely on someone noticing a problem at home.

  • Availability of supported network equipment, main internet connections and wireless backups.
  • Device health and useful alerts where the platform exposes them.
  • Agreed checks that backup connections are available, with planned switching tests where included.
  • Alert review, investigation and escalation within the service scope.

We confirm what can be monitored and when alerts are reviewed. Equipment monitoring is separate from monitored intruder alarm response.

One team to call.
A plan behind the scenes.

01

A clear starting point

We agree the systems in care, available access, baseline condition and records. Initial remedial work is identified before taking responsibility.

02

An agreed maintenance plan

We set out suitable health checks, monitoring coverage and planned maintenance. Frequency, review hours and included work are defined in your service.

03

A route when something changes

Bring a fault, question or change to the HomeTech team. We investigate across the systems we manage and coordinate with relevant providers where that is part of the agreed scope.

04

Time to review what comes next

A periodic review can cover recurring issues, equipment changes and the routines you want to improve. We agree its frequency and keep the relevant Home Record up to date within the service.

Your home.
Documented.

An understandable record of the technology we look after, with the handover contents and maintenance responsibilities agreed in your project or care plan.

Know what is installed, how the important parts connect and who to contact. We agree account ownership and access with you, and handle credentials through a secure process.

As the installation changes, keeping its record current can form part of ongoing care.

Care for the whole picture.

We assess the systems and their dependencies together, then agree what we can support, manage and monitor.

Let’s get to
know it.

Our Home Technology Review can assess an existing installation, including systems installed by somebody else. We start with the equipment, available access, documentation and the problems you want to solve.

From there, we explain what can be taken into care, any work needed first and the proposed ongoing service. You get a clear scope and price before making a commitment.

A service you
understand.

What is included?+

We agree the systems covered, support channels, service hours, response arrangements, monitoring scope and maintenance activities. Visits, replacement hardware, third-party subscriptions and project changes are identified as included or separately chargeable in your proposal.

Will you monitor everything, all the time?+

Monitoring depends on the equipment, connectivity and access available. We agree the checks, alert handling and review hours for your service. Continuous automated monitoring, where available, does not by itself mean someone is responding around the clock.

Can you access cameras or private information?+

Remote access and permissions are agreed with you. Monitoring equipment health does not require treating your camera feeds or personal content as a general monitoring service. Any access needed for troubleshooting is considered specifically and kept within the agreed scope.

Do I need a new installation first?+

No. We can start with a review of your existing system. Unsupported equipment, missing credentials or undocumented integrations may need attention before an ongoing service can be agreed.

How much does ongoing care cost?+

That depends on the systems, size of the installation and level of service required. We review your home technology and provide an ongoing price with the scope, terms and any initial work clearly explained.
