One dish.
Properly installed.
For many homes, one well positioned Starlink or a suitable mobile connection is enough. We survey the site, plan the mounting and cable route, and connect it to your home network.
FAST CONNECTIONS / WIRELESS BACKUP / ONGOING CARE
Speed for everyday life.
A second way online when it matters.
BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. DIFFICULT CONNECTION?
The perfect home can be at the end of a very imperfect broadband line.
Private roads. Long driveways. Permissions that take time. Infrastructure that simply hasn’t reached your address. We look at what works at your property, bringing together Starlink, mobile data and available fixed lines.
From a single home to a wider estate, we design the incoming connection and the network beyond it. So the study, guest accommodation and garden office are part of the same considered plan.

START WITH WHAT YOUR HOME NEEDS
AVAILABILITY MATTERS AS MUCH AS SPEED
When your home relies on cloud services, staying online belongs in the design.
Remote camera viewing, video doorbells, notifications and some home controls depend on an internet connection. A separate wireless route can help keep those services available when the main broadband is interrupted.
A cable can be damaged during roadworks or deliberately cut. A 4G/5G or Starlink connection avoids relying on that same incoming cable. Either can be your main connection or a backup, depending on the property.
We also consider backup power for the router, wireless equipment and the systems you need. No connection is immune to every outage; the aim is to remove avoidable single points of failure.
TRY YOUR HOME’S PLAN B
Switch the main connection off below. A separately connected wireless backup gives the home another route to the internet.
Wireless backup ready if it is needed.
Illustration of automatic backup switching, not a live service or a promise of uninterrupted operation. Detection and reconnection take time; some calls or apps may need to reconnect. Security equipment’s own alarm signalling and backup arrangements are assessed separately.
THE CONNECTIONS BEHIND YOUR HOME
We assess the satellite and fixed line options available at your address, alongside mobile coverage for a main or backup connection.
Satellite and fixed line options, selected around availability and your home’s needs.
THE RIGHT PACKAGE FOR YOUR HOUSEHOLD
You don’t automatically need a business package to have a professionally designed connection.
We can install and support residential Starlink equipment and service you purchase directly, as your main connection or as a separate backup. We check suitability and current plan conditions for your property.
Your Starlink subscription, account and manufacturer warranty remain between you and Starlink. HomeTech supplies the agreed installation, networking, bonding equipment and ongoing care. Any bonding service subscription is explained in your proposal.
Already own a dish? We can assess its position, installation and connection to the rest of your home.
CONSIDERED BEFORE WE FIT A THING
Check fixed line availability, local mobile performance and sky visibility. Trees, buildings and seasonal foliage all influence where a dish can work.
Plan discreet equipment positions, safe mounting, cable routes and power. We identify landlord, estate, listed building or planning permissions that need resolving before installation.
Bring the incoming service into suitable routing, switching and Wi-Fi. Agree how the main house, outbuildings, guests and smart devices should connect.
Commission the agreed design, test its recovery behaviour and explain day-to-day operation. Then establish the support and monitoring arrangements you want.

EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE DESIGN
At Chiddfest, M-Tech brought Starlink, cellular and a wireless link together in a bonded connection for a festival site. It is an event project, but the experience in surveying, combining and supporting connections informs our approach to homes and estates.

A team that understands the connection.
And the home that depends on it.
We agree coverage, access, review hours, response arrangements and charges. Replacement hardware, visits and out of hours cover are included only where specified.
Explore ongoing care ↗WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING MORE
For most homes, a good main connection and a suitable backup are the priority. Where more capacity or greater continuity is needed, we can assess bonding: using several connections together with specialist equipment and a bonding service.
That can include multiple residential Starlinks where suitable. We explain the extra cost and benefit before recommending it. Multiple dishes still share some risks, including a wider Starlink outage, and speeds are not a guaranteed sum of the links.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
No. Many homes need one suitable primary connection and a separate backup, rather than several dishes. We assess existing broadband, mobile coverage and Starlink options before recommending a design.
Where suitable, yes. Multiple residential connections can form part of a bonded design using additional equipment and a bonding service. We check current plan conditions, the property and intended use before specifying the solution.
Often. It may be useful alongside Starlink or mobile data. We assess its performance and decide whether to use it for bonding, failover or another role.
We can assess a wider estate, including separate dwellings and communal areas. Sharing a service across households needs a specific design, with provider terms, account arrangements, privacy and network separation agreed. It is not treated as a standard single-home residential installation.
The dish, router and relevant network equipment need power. We can assess backup power and its expected runtime. Multiple internet connections alone do not solve a power outage.
We start with your address, available services and priorities. Your proposal separates equipment, survey and installation, connectivity subscriptions, any bonding service and optional ongoing care.
